. 300g urad dhal
. 300g white rice
. 1 tsp yeast
. 1 small onion, chopped
. 2 green chilies, chopped
. 2-3 curry leaves, chopped
. 1 Tbsp oil
. Soak urad dhal and rice in separately for about 8-9 hours or over night.
. Wash and drain.
. Put urad dhal and water into a blender and blend until make a smooth batter.
. Do the same process to the rise and mix both together.
. Put yeast and salt into a mixture and mix well.
. Then cover and keep it for about 8-9 hours.
. Heat oil in medium heat, fry onion and green chilies and curry leaves until onion are soft.
. Put onion mixture to the batter, mix well.
. Heat a griddle in medium heat, pour some batter into the middle and form a 6 inch round pancake.
. Cook both sides until light brown.
. Serve with sambar and coconut chutney.
